STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Fingerprints: All E-NRL applicants are required to submit a Fingerprint card along with a check in the amount of $60.95 made payable to L-1 ESD. To ensure that your fingerprint impressions are properly recorded, you must enter the number ""A0042"" on the fingerprint card in the space designated for the ""ORI"" number. The fingerprints and check must be mailed directly to: L-1 Identity Solutions, Attention: Licensing Live Scan, 1650 Wabash Ave Suite D, Springfield, IL 62704. Please note: Your application will not be processed until your fingerprint impressions have been received by L-1 Identity Solutions (L-1 ESD). Note: Fingerprint impressions must be taken by a law enforcement agency (police department, sheriff's office, etc.) on a standard FBI fingerprint card. The fingerprint card is available from the law enforcement agency that you contact to do the printing. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks, or more, after the submission of the fingerprint card before receiving a response to your request for an E-NRL.
- Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident license in CA.
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
