STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Var Life & Var Annuity Product: Applicants applying for the Var Life & Var Annuity Product line must provide the following information: 1) Proof they have passed the series 6, 63, or 7 exam through the FINRA, 2) Proof they are registered with the FINRA or the United States Securities Commission, 3) For those producers whose resident state does not issue the variable authority but allows the producer to sell variable products in conjunction with their life license/authority, a letter from the resident state is required stating this and should be sent to

State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of CO) when a transaction is declined according to CO business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.

Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident license in CO.
Applicant must enter FINRA CRD number on application if applying for Variable.
Business entities applying for a Title License must provide the original CPA affidavit to Promissor.
Business entity applications must include one Designated Responsible Licensed Producer that is an owner, partner, officer or director actively licensed in Colorado and on record at the time application is made.
Business entity applicants must report trade names (doing business as) to Promissor.

All TITLE Producers to include Individuals, Attorney Title and Title Agency applicants will now be required to access the following website and populate the affiliated business information sheet when making application for a TITLE license or renewing/continuing an already existing TITLE license:

Please be advised that should the applicant fail to access the site and populate the required form in accordance with Colorado Law, the application will be processed and the license will be subject to suspension, revocation, and or a fine.
