STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- All applicants: If any background questions are answered affirmatively please provide appropriate correspondence to Georgia Licensing Dept.
- Variable Product applicants must provide NASD CRD number on their application.
State fees will not be collected by NIPR (on behalf of GA) when a transaction is declined according to GA business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will still apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.
- Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident license in GA.
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
- Applying for “Agent -Personal Lines” will not be allowed if the applicant holds both “Agent-Property” AND “Agent-Casualty” in Georgia for any license class offered electronically to non-residents.
- Applicants must be currently licensed for BOTH Property & Casualty to apply for a Non-Resident Surplus Lines Broker license class.
- Applicants applying for a Variable Products must supply NASD CRD number on application.
