STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

IN offers both combined and separate lines of authority for Life, Accident & Health and Property & Casualty. DO NOT apply for both combination and separate authorities. Please check the state website to verify any active authorities.
Designated Producer's are required to hold an active IN license (LICENSE MUST SHOW ON PRODUCER DATABASE BEFORE SUBMITTING BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION. SUBMISSION OF BUSINESS LICENSE APPLICATION BEFORE DRLP PDB DISPLAY WILL RESULT IN A DECLINE).

State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of IN) when a transaction is declined according to IN business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.

Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident license in IN.
Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
