STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Surety: The Surety line of authority is not currently being
accepted electronically. Surety is not included in the Property and Casualty
line of authority. Paper applications are required and can be accessed
through the NIPR Non-Resident Licensing web page.
- Background Questions: Applicants answering one of the background
questions "Yes", with the exception to #4, must print, sign, and
date the application prior to submitting to the address above.
- Business Entities: Designated/Responsible producers listed on the
application must already hold an active license in the state of Nevada.
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of NV) when a transaction is
declined according to NV business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees
will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline
response.
- Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18
years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
- Individual
applicants - Applicant must enter NASD CRD number on
application when applying for Variable.
- Business
Entity applicants - Must be a Legal Business Type.
