STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Applications that are pended by the state, for additional information or requirements, will be declined by the state if no response is received from the applicant within 30 days of the state's request. Supporting documents may be faxed to 919-715-3794 ATTN: NRL DQ.

State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of NC) when a transaction is declined according to NC business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.

Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
When applying for Variable Life & Variable Annuity Products applicant must already hold or be applying for LIFE authority.
Applicants for Medicare Supplement/Long term care must hold accident & health or sickness in NC and resident state.
