STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Oklahoma will no longer be accepting Variable applications for NRL.
Oklahoma will not accept any applications from applicants with an Oklahoma address.
Retaliatory fees apply for all OK non resident license transactions.
Business Entities: The name of the business entity must be approved by the Oklahoma Secretary of State prior to completion of application. Please contact them at (405) 522-2520.
Business Entities: Business Entities must provide Certificate of Authority to the state to verify that they are compliant with the OK Secretary of State.
Business Entities: Please confirm through PDB that each Designated/Responsible Licensed Producer does hold an active license with the required authorities.

State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of OK) when a transaction is declined according to OK business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.

Applicant must not have an inactive Non Resident license in OK.
Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
Business Entity applicants - Must be a Legal Business Type.

- 2 - Limited Liability Company
- 3 - Limited Liability Partnership
- 4 - Corporation

For Late Renewals: Renewal applicants will be allowed to renew their licenses up to 90 days from their expiration dates. Upon the 91st day, any license that has not been renewed will enter a reinstatement period, requiring reinstatement via paper documentation.

OK is currently NOT accepting adjuster applications electronically through NIPR. Please contact the OK DOI at (405)521-3916 for more information regarding the electronic processing of adjuster licensing. Thank you.
