STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- The business entity name will be reviewed upon application submission.
Registration with the PA Department of State may be required. Instructions
will be sent upon issuance of license.
- Business Entities: Designated/Responsible producers listed on the application must hold an active license in the state of Pennsylvania or apply prior to or simultaneously with the business entity application.
- The Designated Licensee of the Business Entity must send certified copies of all court records to by email to ra-in-compliance@state.pa.us or first class mail to: Pennsylvania Insurance Department, Bureau of Producer Services, Compliance Division, 1209 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Applicants for an individual license must send certified records in same manner and to same address.
- NOTE: ALL LICENSE FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE BY STATUTE.
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of PA) when a transaction is declined according to PA business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.
- All fees must be paid with application and are non-refundable
- Business Entity applicants - Must be a Legal Business Type.
- 1 - Partnership
- 2 - Limited Liability Company
- 3 - Limited Liability Partnership
- 4 - Corporation
