STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

All applicants will undergo a criminal history background check before receiving a license from the TX DOI.

State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of TX) when a transaction is declined according to TX business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.

Individual applicants - Applicant must be 18 years old or older as determined from the applicant’s Date of Birth.
Business Entity applicants - Legal Business Type, Sole Proprietorship, not accepted electronically.
Business Entity applicants - Designated Producers specified on the application (question #25), must also be specified as Owners, Partners, Officers or Directors (question # 25).
