STATE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
State fees will be collected by NIPR (on behalf of VT) when a transaction is declined according to VT business rules. Transaction fees and processing fees will also apply. Violation of the following rules will result in a decline response.
Producer Licenses expire on a common expiration date of March 31 of the Odd year in Vermont. If you apply for a license now, you will pay the initial license fee and application fee for a license that expires March 31, odd year. You will also receive an invoice for the renewal fee once the license is issued. ALL applications received either electronic or paper at the Insurance Department AFTER March 15th, odd year will not be issued effective until April 2nd, odd year .
