NIPR BOARD MEMBERS, PAST AND PRESENT,
JOIN IN CELEBRATING 10^th ANNIVERSARY

ST. LOUIS (Sept. 8, 2006) – The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) will celebrate a decade of growth and leadership as it marks its 10^th anniversary in October.

To commemorate the milestone, current and former NIPR board members will share their congratulatory remarks via videotaped messages at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) Fall National Meeting in St. Louis. The messages will be shown throughout the weekend on a television screen located in the registration area of the America’s Center.

“We are proud of the NIPR’s accomplishments, and are delighted to have former leaders who helped shape a uniform insurance producer licensing process share some of their special memories from the past 10 years,” said NIPR Executive Director Maryellen Waggoner. “This anniversary gives us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our growth and focus on how we can continue to benefit regulators, insurers, producers and consumers.”

Current and former board members who contributed videotaped messages include:

·        Linda Hall – President, NIPR Board

·        Wesley Bissett – Vice President, NIPR Board

·        Joel Ario – President, NIPR Board (2003-2005)

·        Glenn Pomeroy – President, NIPR Board (1996-2000)

·        Maryellen Waggoner – NIPR Executive Director
