KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Jan. 30, 2007) - Navigating the producer licensing puzzle is now easier with the launch of the new National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) Web site. After an extensive re-design to celebrate the NIPR's 10th Anniversary, www.NIPR.com is now available to all customers.

The new site incorporates more information than ever before, while providing a more user-friendly experience. Among the new features, visitors are able to navigate through a complete list of NIPR products sorted by state, view a calendar of NIPR events and contact staff with greater ease. That means, whether the customer is a seasoned user or a first-time visitor, NIPR.com will provide a quicker, more accessible online resource.

"The improvements insure that the NIPR Web site is the one-stop outlet producers, insurance companies and state insurance departments need to accelerate their licensing process," said Maryellen Waggoner, NIPR Executive Director.

In the 10 years since its inception, the NIPR has become the national leader in the electronic producer licensing process. The NIPR's unique public-private partnership began with just three states. Currently, more than 1,100 companies in all 50 states,
as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, use the NIPR Gateway to
process over six million transactions per year.
