Applicant's non-resident Delaware license must not be inactive with a status reason of "revoked". If so, please contact the state for assistance.

If applicant responds "yes" to one of the background questions please submit supporting documents to the state via mail, email, or fax. All other required documentation must be forwarded directly to the state.
- Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) Rules:
- In order for an applicant to designate a home state during the renewal process, the applicant must have an active non-resident adjuster license on the Producer Database (PDB) and no active resident adjuster license.

If designated home state license is inactive at the time of renewal, applicant may select another state with an active adjuster license as the designated home state.

If applicant holds an active resident non-adjuster license in a state that licenses resident adjusters, and is designating an active non-resident adjuster license as their home state license, the application will defer to state for review.

If applicant holds an active resident non-adjuster license in a state that does not license adjusters and is designating an active non-resident adjuster license as their home state, the application will defer to state for review.

Applicant may select Delaware as their Adjuster Designated Home State while renewing their Non-Resident Delaware license.

Public Adjusters cannot designate a home state.
- Applicants who designate a home state must answer the following questions:
- A Non-Resident Licensed Adjuster in the state of Delaware must complete the required Continuing Education hours as set forth by Delaware Statutes OR A Non-Resident Licensed Adjuster may complete Continuing Education requirements in their designated home state where they are currently licensed and in good standing with that state's Continuing Education requirement. Have you met one of the Continuing Education requirements above? (I understand that at the request of the Delaware Insurance Department, I may be required to submit the course completions.)
- If Yes, please provide the state code in which the CE requirements were met.
- Delaware will allow late renewal of an expired license using this NIPR Application (Non-Resident Adjuster Renewals) if license status is cancelled with a status reason of "non-renewed/not continuing education compliant" up to one (1) year past expiration date.
