Applicant Can

  • Submit contact change request for any license on NIPR's Producer Database (PDB)
  • Submit DHS contact change request (no resident state license on PDB)
  • Submit Email Changes
  • Submit Phone number Changes
  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Non-Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Non-Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Non-Residents only)

Applicant Cannot

  • Submit change to state code of residence address (Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of business address (Residents only)
  • Submit change to state code of mailing address (Residents only)

Business Rules

  • Non-Resident licensees: Address must match respective resident/home state license address.

  • P.O. Boxes are only allowed for mailing address. 

  • Applicant's New Mexico license record must be in active status on the Producer Database (PDB) for a contact change request (CCR) transaction to be submitted.

  • Individual Residents must maintain a residence address in New Mexico.

  • Individual Non-Residents cannot have a residence address in New Mexico.

License Cancellation form

To terminate a Line of Authority- send a request to Agents.licensing@osi.nm.gov indicating your NM License number what LOA is to be terminated.

Exam scores are valid for 1 year from the passed Exam date.

No exam is required of an applicant for a license covering the same kind or kinds of insurance as to which licensed in this state within 1 year preceding date of application for the new license, unless the previous license was suspended, revoked or continuation thereof refused by the superintendent
