Organizational Requirements
Although it is not mandatory at this time, electronic submission and processing is the preferred method for handling license applications. Delaware does not issue Lines of Authority or Appointments to Business Entities. |
|

The business entity has designated a licensed producer responsible for the business entity’s compliance with the insurance laws, rules and regulations of this state. The DRLP must be currently licensed in Delaware prior to submitting the business entity application. |
|
All LLCs must register with the Delaware Secretary of State’s Office – 302-739-3073. |
|
Applicants are required to submit a letter of explanation and supporting documentation for those questions that are answered “yes” on the Uniform Application. If submitting the application electronically, supporting documentation may be faxed to: 302-736-7906 |
|
A Letter of Certification from the home state is not required. |

A fee of $75 is due for new applicants. |
