Requirements
 

All business entities must register with the NH Secretary of State PRIOR to filing for licensing.

 

All affirmative responses to background questions require a written explanation and attachment of corresponding legal documents.

All Entities filing electronically are required to submit this information to the NH Insurance Department, either by fax or mail. Please reference name , FEIN, and NIPR transaction #.
 

The designated producer(s) is required to hold an active NH license and cumulatively hold all lines requested on the application.

All documentation required for Electronic applications must be received within 30 days or license application will be denied.
The company must submit a Producer Appointment Form within 15 days of initiating a contract with an individual and or business entity holding a producer license. The NIPR PIN process is NHID's preferred method of appointments and terminations.The fee for both is $25. In addition, be aware that an appointment is a registration of an existing contract, and have no inherent rights or privileges. A producer license in good standing must pre-exist to issue appointments or terminations.

All individuals applying for the line of Variable Annuity must hold the Life Line of Authority and supply the department with their CRD number.
