Required for license application
When you apply for a license, you’ll need to provide:
- License number or National Producer Number (if previously licensed)
- Social Security Number (first-time applicants) or Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN)
- Date of birth (individuals)
- Applicant, licensee, license, residency type
- Electronic payment method: Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, electronic check
Print your application receipt
Forget to print your application receipt or need another copy? Log in to the application and provide your license number, National Producer Number (NPN) or Social Security Number (SSN).
Check your application status
With your transaction, payment or order number, you can check the status of your application. States typically take 7 to 10 days to review applications. If you don’t see an update, contact the state for assistance.
