New website will provide more user-friendly experience

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 15, 2015) — The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) is proud to announce an extensive redesign of its website,, including brand new and updated features.

The redesigned site incorporates additional capabilities, while providing a more user-friendly experience to help users find NIPR services quickly. All NIPR licensing and application services are now featured prominently on the homepage.

New features include Google Site Search for easy content access, a Print Your Receipt page to help users find their receipt and a footer displaying all the application links for smooth navigation. Whether the customer is a seasoned user or a first-time visitor, will provide a quicker, more accessible online resource.

NIPR’s contact information is also displayed at the top and bottom of every page of the new site. This gives customers faster access to multiple avenues of communication.

“As we continue to work to make NIPR’s strategic plan a reality, we are proud of the newly designed website that strives to embody NIPR’s values of quality, simplicity and consistency,” NIPR Executive Director Karen Stakem Hornig said. “While a website is always a work in progress, the updated NIPR site provides new capabilities that will help our customers easily find licensing applications and other information.”

Incorporated in October 1996, the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) is a non-profit affiliate of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). NIPR developed and implemented the Producer Database (PDB) and Gateway, which is a communication network that links state insurance regulators with the entities they regulate to facilitate the electronic exchange of producer information.
