Release Coincides With 2017 Annual Report

MILWAUKEE (March 23, 2018) — The National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) released its new strategic plan today, titled NIPR 2020: Focused on the Future, in conjunction with the organization's 2017 Annual Report.

Exceptional customer service; technological excellence and stability; a talented and engaged team; and consistent innovation are the pillars upon which NIPR has planned its goals and objectives for the next three years.

The plan is launched as NIPR announces details of another record-breaking year. The organization processed more than 29 million transactions in 2017, an all-time high. "Our sights are set on not only handling our volume with more efficiency, but [also on] finding ways to serve our customers better," said Karen Stakem Hornig, NIPR Executive Director, in a video message that is part of the Annual Report.

The six month process to develop the strategic plan involved Board members, management team members and staff and resulted in a clarified mission statement and updated vision. Together, leaders articulated the values already inherent in the culture of NIPR: teamwork, excellence, trust and innovation.

Hornig puts the release of the two documents in context: "This is an important time for NIPR—a time to build on our success and remain focused on our future."
