Business Rules

Applicant must be eighteen (18) years old or older as determined from the applicant's date of birth.

PO Box not permitted in applicant's residence or business address fields

All phone and fax numbers may not begin with zero.

Applicant's Residence, Business and Mailing addresses provided on the application must all be U.S. addresses

All applicants must be fingerprinted through Florida's vendor, MorphoTrust USA. You can register, find locations, and pay for fingerprinting by visiting www.L1enrollment.com/FLInsurance. Additional fingerprinting information can be found by visiting Florida's Agent & Agency Services fingerprinting website, http://www.myfloridacfo.com/Division/Agents/Licensure/Agents-Adjusters/fingerprinting.htm.

Adjuster Designated Home State (ADHS) Business Rules

The ADHS selected must have an active non-resident adjuster license on the PDB.

In order for an applicant to designate a home state, the applicant must not have an active resident adjuster license on PDB (in any state).

Applicants may only designate a home state that is in the following list of states. Other states will not be accepted as a designated home state.

List of accepted designate home states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma,  Oregon, Texas, Utah, Wyoming.
