Applicant must be one of the following legal business types:
- Corporation
- Partnership
- Limited Liability Company (LLC)
- Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
- Sole Proprietor
A producer licensed with a casualty line of authority (LOA) may sell travel without a separate license or qualification.
Resident surplus lines broker applicants must first actively hold both single lines of producer property and casualty in Wyoming.
Resident surplus lines broker applicants must include a $10,000 surplus lines bond issued on the required surplus lines bond form with the state of Wyoming as obligee. The form may be found on the state website.
Resident Adjuster applicants must apply for both the Adjuster - Property and Adjuster - Casualty simultaneously.
Applicant must provide a valid business/residence phone number and both business and personal email addresses.
At least one (1) Designated Responsible Licensed Producer (DRLP) must be provided on the application.
Licenses issued with a "Resident Producer Firm" license class are perpetual (does not expire) and do not need to be renewed. Should the line become inactive applicants may reinstate the license through the resident licensing application.
